COP28: Can dharma influence what you think about climate change?

Many would agree that everyone has a responsibility to help limit future damage to the environment. Some see it as more than that!

How you practice is deeply personal, but some claim saving the planet is part of their religious obligation.

As world leaders gather in Dubai at COP28 to discuss ways to limit future environmental damage, the Buddhist Federation of Norway is calling to mind three main principles of the dharma (Buddha's teachings): Try to cause as little harm as possible; promote peace and harmony for all living beings through all our actions; refine the heart - so we want to take care of the planet and everyone who lives here, now and in the future.

How does your practice inspire you?
